School Board

This group meet approximately once per term and consists of 4 or 5 parent representatives, a selected staff representative and the Principal.

The School Council plays a key role in the school planning and school budget.

Frank Musiello

Business Development Manager- Activ Pathways

I have 18 years experience working in the training arena in both for profit and not for profit organisations in the UK and more recently here in Australia. I joined Activ Pathways in 2012 in the role of BDM working closely with schools, students and adults in helping the achieve their learning goals and aspirations towards achieving better life for themselves. I joined the Gladys Newton board in 2014 and have been ac active member since then.

Maggie May

Deputy Principal

I started my teaching career in mainstream, working in Primary Schools and on  school of the Air, Meekatharra. After completing postgraduate studies in ‘Children with Special Needs’, I changed course and have since taught in Education Support Centres and Schools. I have held several Acting Principal positions over the years and have been Deputy Principal at Gladys Newton School for almost 12 years

Andrzej Gruszecki

Deputy Principal

I have over 25 years of teaching experience both in Poland and Australia. I started my teaching career in mainstream, working in Primary Schools. After coming to Australia, I completed postgraduate studies in ‘Children with Special Needs’. In 2001 I started work at Gladys Newton School and in 2010 I became Deputy Principal.
